ROSES — We have been the “CITY of ROSES” since the early 20th Century, when passengers travelling through town on North Carolina Railroad saw the masses of rose bushes growing along the fence at Minneola Mill. The rose is symbolic of our past and future so we continue to plant more. (HISTORY)
